Can you open/close a circuit breaker remotely in a Kirk key system.  It is a main tie main and if the keys are in both mains can I operate the circuit breakers?

RE: Kirk key remote trip

Possibly breaker-dependent but normally yes, you can remotely operate a breaker which is released by the interlock scheme.

RE: Kirk key remote trip

Very breaker dependant.  I suggest contacting either your equipment vendor for additional information, or contacting Kirk (http://www.kirkkey.com)

RE: Kirk key remote trip

Once the keys are in place you can operate the breakers remotely.
