What is a good program for analysis of integral abutment bridges? Probably using finite element analysis?

RE: Computer program for integral abutment bridges

The only one I know of is by Imbsen and Assciates.  Not sure it's only for integral but both open  seat and integral.

The industry standard for integral abutment design is far from complex and can be performed in a about an hour or so.

RE: Computer program for integral abutment bridges

I have never done any special analysis of integral briges because bending flexibility of the abutment piles renders the abutment support a simple support for the bridge beams.  For temperature, the bridge is going to move based on alpha * delta T * L.  No refined analysis is going to change that.
