Module to convert CATIA file into MSC/NASTRAN

Module to convert CATIA file into MSC/NASTRAN

(OP)
Hello,
With MSC/ PATRAN-NASTRAN 2000 , it is possible to convert a CATIA file (V4 or V5) directly into PATRAN in order to use it with NASTRAN.
The NASTRAN software I own does not allow it . It need a special module.
What's the name of this module ?

RE: Module to convert CATIA file into MSC/NASTRAN

I had the same question, but using FEMAP instead of PATRAN. For FEMAP, you need to buy the enterprise version to get the CATIA import option.

RE: Module to convert CATIA file into MSC/NASTRAN

You need to buy the license for CATIA import in Patran, but insteadof that , you can export to iges or parasolid using CATIA, and then import it to Patran, without a special license.
