HAP Heat pump Question

HAP Heat pump Question

HAP Heat pump Question

(OP)
Hi, been working on a HAP project recently, I have created my spaces and linked them to my systems- WSHP as a terminal unit, and selected my cooling tower and aux boiler in the equipments tab.

Now I'm trying to figure how to view the results for sizing boiler and cooling tower. I do not need to see the design reseult for the space/ ventilation loads. Just the size of boiler.

Any help would be appreciated! This is really bugging me.

Thanks

RE: HAP Heat pump Question

Create a plant in the "Plant" tab.  Run the simulation, and check out the results.

HAP will not allow me to add my WSHP under the systems tab under plants. It wont let me create a plant unless i specify a system also.

RE: HAP Heat pump Question

Sorry, never did a water source heat pump before.  Maybe check the monthly simulation data in the system tab, and bring up a graph showing the heating and cooling WSHP loads (MBH).  That seems like a good place to go.

Have you contacted the software help line?  I hear that they are very good to work with.

No i have emailed them, but no reply. Ill give them a call.

The monthly simulation isnt exactly what i need.

Thanks thou
