Seal profile cross reference?

Seal profile cross reference?

Seal profile cross reference?

(OP)
Howdy all,

Does anyone have something with seal profiles cross referenced to their part numbers?  I have a P seal with a strip of metal encased in the base, but the tag for it has fallen off.   We have a bunch of the 10-60754 seals in a rack but not another piece of this one with a tag on it to compare it to.

Thanks,

-Kirby

RE: Seal profile cross reference?

Try the Minor Rubber catalog, otherwise, if you can narrow down the possible make/model(s), often the SRM has seal profiles along with the extrusions and  rollformed sections.

RE: Seal profile cross reference?

You might try: http://www.sealsonline.com

Their catalog is a bit silly with the animations, but maybe the download of the PDF will be easier to use.

I have a printed catalog on my desk and the first few pages have what you are asking for (seals, wipers, o-rings, packings, etc.) and the same index may turn up in the website PDF's.

Rerig,

Excellent.  I'll go take dimensions and post a sketch here later today.  BTW if the pdf is redistributable (i.e. no copyright concerns) I would love to have a copy of that.  Of course I've been diciplined for not heeding such issues before so I understand if you cannot.

Here is a quick sketchup.  The P Seal bulb is .5" dia.  it is 1.7" wide at the widest point.  The flange is .082 thick with a 1.2" X .040" thick aluminum insert.  It is a pliable grey rubber with a cloth outer skin.

Thanks for your help.

RE: Seal profile cross reference?

Kirby,
Couldn't find it. (1995 Rev)
It might not be a 10-60754.

I broke the file into smaller segments, but it will not load. I'll break it into 6ea 5 meg files and try again later.

Sorry.

Found it.  It was a -20 used on a 737 flap track fairing.  Thanks for your help rerig.
