How can I input dxf cross section in staad pro? I'm working with complex thinwalled steel sections (like Sigma cross section or combination of 2Sigma and 2C).Please help.Thnx

RE: Staad Pro

I believe STAAD only imports and exports member geometry....nodes and beams.

RE: Staad Pro

There's a program called FreeSketch that comes with STAAD. In Windows go to Start > All Programs > STAAD.Pro V8i (or whatever you have) > Section Wizard > FreeSketch.

Give that a try.
