Output .pdf NOT postscript (.ps)

Output .pdf NOT postscript (.ps)

I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the output file default from postscript to .pdf

I try to do Output-->Create .pdf

And the default is .ps (postscript). I have changed this option to .pdf true size, it shows that the file type has been changed, but when i try to choose where to save it, it reverts back to .ps and won't save as a pdf file.

Please help!! Very frustrating

What version of Wildfire?
Older versions required you to have full Acrobat to generate the pdf from the ps.

I am using WF3

RE: Output .pdf NOT postscript (.ps)

I thought it might be related to the config option plot_names but i just tried both YES & NO settings & get a PDF file from either.  I don't have the full Acrobat so Pro/E is making the file.  I did file/save as & picked PDF.  There is no "output" command.
