(OP)
A 100 sq mile segment of a Greenland iceburg has broken off and, although still far away, was last seen floating toward the Canadian NE oil installations.

Actually the best line in the article was, "It is large enough that it could offer a good homesite for all those global warming skeptics."

"The top of the organisation doesn't listen sufficiently to what the bottom is saying."  Tony Hayward X-CEO BP
"Being GREEN isn't easy." Kermitfrog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpiIWMWWVco

Yes, I heard about it. An ice sheet four times the size of Manhattan Island. The good thing (if there is any good thing) is that it moves extremely slowly. It can threaten Canadian offhore drilling rigs if it reaches/passes the sound between Greenland and Canada before winter.

RE: Climate change cocktail ... oil - on the rocks

Cairn are drilling offshore Greenland now.... Greenpeace are on their way to protest, shadowed by Danish Special Forces.

I wonder if the Danes are as brutal as the French Special Forces?
