RSLogix Program Review

RSLogix Program Review

(OP)
Hi,
I am currently reviewing one application for CPU 1769-L32E created with RSLogix5000 ver17.
I came accross very strange way of programming using outputs in series. In one example I foung three output contacts OTE, OTL and OTU in the same rung.
Please explain what exact problem could be a result of this approach.
Regards,
Filip

RE: RSLogix Program Review

None. RsLogix 5000 allows output instructions to be placed in series. In the input and output of an output instruction is the same. Saves branches.

RE: RSLogix Program Review

just dont put inputs inbetween the outputs or you might have that same rung execute on different scans for the different outputs.

I think this is where RSlogix5000 lets you hang yourself.
