A while back Ctopher posted a usefull & well received link.

thread1103-197339: Machining tips

In the same spirit I've found some useful information that got me thinking in a couple of places on www.siemensplmcommunity.com.

Now the bad thing is I think you have to have a membership to view it.  However, they have a monthly article from a place called 'Pro CNC' that looks pretty good.  http://www.siemensplmcommunity.com/feature_full.php?cpfeatureid=52605 is the latest article on there.

Now the good thing, I think the same information is on Pro CNC's own site:  http://procnc.com/resources/newsletters

I'm not saying I 100% agree with everything they say, especially coming from the design rather than manufacturing point of view.  However, there is some pretty good stuff and a few points got me thinking.

As with anything 'free' on the web - use at your own risk and take a few points with a pinch of salt.

However, I hope it's useful to at least a few of you.
