Teamcenter & NX6 Load Options

Teamcenter & NX6 Load Options

(OP)
Since upgrading to NX 6.0.4, our load options for Latest Released or Precise do not behave the way they did in NX6.0.2 & lower. Parts in an assembly that are shown 'empty' and are not Released cannot simply be opened by setting Latest Working rule and right clicking in the ANT, then slide to open.

GTAC says to use File -> Open, locate the component and revision, open it, then switch back to the assy and uncheck the box in the ANT to see the desired revision.

This is not a optimized solution!

As well, there is no column in the ANT to show that the component is 'out of date'.

This is a serious flaw!

I understand that it is not fixed in NX 7.5. Anyone have any comments?

How about hearing from the Product Evangelist?

No one has any comments AT ALL????

Not knowing if there is a newer revision available (and if desired, quickly switch to it) seriously hampers all companies that do not use a formal ECO process due to time constraints. I-DEAS has this function in Managed Bins and TcII has it OOTB. Why doesn't NX????
