Dear Friends
I like to know is there any rules for number and selection of  mixer which we consider for a storage tanks.

RE: number of mixer

You might contact mixer suppliers for recommendations for a particular issue.

RE: number of mixer

There are no rules.  There are calculations, evaluations, experience and recommendations.  Mixer vendors and/or in-house engineers can help.

RE: number of mixer

Yes, there are rules..

But each mixer vendor seems to have a different set of rules, ...you must be prepared for a variety of solutions.

There is a certain amount of "black magic" in sizing and selecting mixers.

You must know your process and your liquids/solids very well including the "degree of mixing" that you desire

RE: number of mixer

There are no legally binding rules.
