I am looking for typical heavy duty truck engine service intervals eg  ? miles air/oil filter change, ? miles turbo change, ? miles major rebuild (bearing etc), ? miles wear out.

Any views on typical truck reliability (MTBF etc) would be great as well

RE: heavy duty truck engine service intervals

air cleaner: clean as indicated by restriction.  replace once/yr
engine oil and filter: 500hrs or 30k-mi
turbo remove/inspect at 6000hrs or 360k-mi
overhaul at about 15000 to 20000 hrs or 1.2M-mi

overhaul up to 3x
