Is there a way to do this? I've got an ass'y. (Automotive Die) I want to show the tool with the formed sheet metal part in transparent "phantomed or dotted" linetype wire frame.

There are painful ways to do it.
 Make wires...
Use visible in view layer controls...
 ETC...

I've done that but is there a better way? Somekind of
"Make part reference" function that will do it automtically?

TIA
Dave

RE: Transparent componets in drafting views NX 7.5...

You want 1 or 2 parts to be wireframe, but the rest to be solid?
If so, look up 'render set' in the drafting help file. I think that is what you want.
