Weldment Memory Issue

Weldment Memory Issue

Weldment Memory Issue

(OP)
I'm having an issue with a weldment drawing.  The part has 20 some odd rows in the cut list and about 80 total beams.  If I create a drawing everything seems fine.  However, as soon as I start to add non-weldment features that are other bodies in the part I get a an error when I try to open the drawing that says SW can't obtain the required memory followed by the inevitable crash.  I've tried this with smaller weldments and there is no issue.  Is there some magical number of weldment members that you can't exceed in a multibody part?

RE: Weldment Memory Issue

I'd have to say the magical number is directly related to how much RAM you have...

It just seems strange.  Why the behavior with weldment multibody parts and not just weldments or just multibody parts?  I've dealt with both that have literally hundreds more bodies and assemblies with thousands of bodies without issue.
