Experion PKS Function Block Scan Rate

Experion PKS Function Block Scan Rate

Experion PKS Function Block Scan Rate

(OP)
Working with a 3rd party on a process we are licensing.  They are using an Experion PKS control system.

We have several Cascade control loops where we would like the outer (master) controller to run at a scan rate slower than the inner controller...a rate of about 10 seconds.

The slowest scan rate available in Experion for function blocks seems to be 2 sec.

There is a language barrier here.  The Honeywell reps on site are for the architecture, not the configuration.  The integration the 3rd party hired does not understand Cascade or why I want a longer scan rate (tried explaining it, just doesn't get through).

Anyone have experience with Experion and how to get a longer scan rate for a PID loop?
