Losing connection to TCE when exporting step, dxf etc

Losing connection to TCE when exporting step, dxf etc

Losing connection to TCE when exporting step, dxf etc

(OP)
Using nx6 and TC8, anytime any user exports step, iges, dxf etc, TCe and nx must be restarted. Connection is lost.

Anyone know a setting to fix this issue? Should exports
be done from TC and not NX?

Peter

RE: Losing connection to TCE when exporting step, dxf etc

we have the same issue with tc8.1 and nx7.0.1. we have submitted an error to gtac on this but as yet have no eta on a fix. haven't tested nx 7.5 with tc8.1 yet.

NX 7.0.1.7, TC 8.1

4 Tier have a security feature that disable exports as you do not want your suppliers exporting all your models.

If the security variable is set, you can toggle it on and off.  The default appears broken (not set).

I would suggest to try setting TCE to export with the variable and give all users permission to do so if you don't use the 4 tier.

We will try this when time allows. (I hope)
