Getting Info From A SELECTED Point In An Excel Chart

Getting Info From A SELECTED Point In An Excel Chart

Getting Info From A SELECTED Point In An Excel Chart

(OP)
Hi,

I am trying to write a macro that generates information regarding a point in a chart. The user will typically click on a point and then on a button and information will be generated regarding that specific point. The problem I have is that I cannot find a method in which to determine if a point is selected. I have been trying to use the

ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(series_no).Points(point_no)

but have not been able to determine if SELECTED.

Is there anyway that anyone knows of to determine if a point is SELECTED ? and then to determine information such as the series_no and point_no to be able to pull back the additional information????

Thank you for any help.
T.O.
