Li-Ion Battery Storage

Li-Ion Battery Storage

(OP)
Anyone have experience with Li-Ion battery storage and how best to protect it?  I am particluarly interested in larger batteries (similar to car/truck batteries), but any info would be helpful.  Li-Ion batteries, as I understand it, are more stable than lithium batteries as they only contain Li in the ionic form - no real metals.

As NFPA-13 appears to exclude this storage, I have no guidance at this point.

Could treat it as regular lead acid type batteries (Grp A plastic for truck batteries), but no real justification.

Any information would be appreciated.
