Assigning Density of part without opening them

Assigning Density of part without opening them

(OP)
Hi,

I'm trying to find a macro or add-in for solidworks 2010 x64 so that I can see and modifiy (if necessary) density of a part without opening each of them one by one. Best thing would be to be able to modify the property while browsing in an assembly....

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

RE: Assigning Density of part without opening them

In SWX2010 you can push properties back into a part file from a BOM in an assy.  I haven't tried this for the density, but if you make it a property of the part that shows up in the BOM table then you can double-click it and change it, pushing that change back into the part.

Tony, the macro Dustin pointed to was written by me. So if you need I can try to edit it.
