DOES NX7.5 HAVE A "FILLET / DRAFT EXPERT" (TROUBLE SHOOTER)

RE: DOES NX7.5 HAVE A "FILLET / DRAFT EXPERT" (TROUBLE SHOOTER)

This is what Synchronous Modeling can do for you, except that you don't have to do any reordering, automatic or otherwise.  You just change the angle of the face and the blends update automatically irrespective of the order in which they were created or even if they're features or not (you can add draft to a face with adjacent 'blends' in a dumb model and the 'blends' will still properly and automatically update).

RE: DOES NX7.5 HAVE A "FILLET / DRAFT EXPERT" (TROUBLE SHOOTER)

I suppose it is good to see other systems catching up, but happily with NX we're still assured for a while yet of plenty of work coming from customers whose legacy and dead data from other systems needs the power of what was Direct, and now Synchronous, modelling to fix their geometry. It is one thing to have the convenience of choice when working with good and parametric data and altogether another to have the flexibility to ride roughshod over seemingly impossible topology!
