Mechanical Routing

Mechanical Routing

Mechanical Routing

(OP)
This is for NX6 users.

I am curios how other users are doing Mechanical Routing.  I usually use create linear path and just pick a point to start from and use the Dynamic Axis or one of the other options in the pull down.  I go back and add the radius or bends after just in case a that corner is not too small for the radius. We are trying to come up with a best practice process for routing tubing and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Pretengineer

RE: Mechanical Routing

Pret. How are you handling clipping/clamping points? I am assuming that your tubing is attached at various places by various methods.
As an aside give a hearty THANKS to your management for getting that license. It vastly beats using sketch and datums to route spaghetti.
