BOM Table Empty Cell Entry Question

BOM Table Empty Cell Entry Question

BOM Table Empty Cell Entry Question

(OP)
I am using SolidWorks 2010 and am having an issue with BOM tables.  I am looking to add components to a BOM that are not in the model (for example for paint, or for hundreds of fasteners that we either don't have the time or a need to put into the assembly or otherwise choose not to for other reasons).

In their drawings, all my co-workers can easily add rows to their SW BOM tables and manually add descriptions/etc. by double-clicking on the newly created cells.  I however can not edit any of the cells the new rows I've added.

I'm guessing I just have some system option different than everyone else but can't for the life of me figure out which one it is.

Anyone know?

Thanks,
Nick

RE: BOM Table Empty Cell Entry Question

Rather than trying to figure it out, have one of your coworkers use the copy settings wizard to, well, copy his settings. You can then use the same wizard to copy his settings to your install.
