Changing Background in ST1

Changing Background in ST1

Changing Background in ST1

(OP)
Hi All

How do I change the background colour of the view window when in part and assembly environments?

Thanks in anticipation of your help!

Best regards,
Paul

RE: Changing Background in ST1

If you are using the standard template files delivered with ST1, you will have the default gradient background.
The best way to change this is to open up each of the template files. Then on the view ribbon choose the view command.
Then on the background tab make your changes and then save the file.
Repeat for the other templates - sheet metal, assembly, synch etc.

If you set the type to Solid Edge default, it will use the colour settings within the Solid Edge options.
If you leave it set to gradient, you use the colour 1 and Colour 2 optiuons within the view dialogue to control the colour.

Hope that helps
Jon
