Suppres suddenly takes very very long!

Suppres suddenly takes very very long!

Suppres suddenly takes very very long!

(OP)
Last week, solidworks takes much longer to suppress parts than it took before. This really affects my productivity and the calculation-time of my VBA program. But it's due to solidworks that it takes so long.

Have other readers also noticed this? And most imporant, what can i do to speed it up again?

Thanks mates,

regards,

chris

RE: Suppres suddenly takes very very long!

Interesting...

What version are you running?

Does this happen when you suppress the parts even in very basic assemblies?

Adriaan.
I am an Engineer/part time student (Mechatronics) from South Africa.
Advice from lecturer: "Be warned - when you go into industry your boss will give you a thousand things to do and he wants them done yesterday!" So far he is right...

My version: SW2010 SP3.1

Unfortunately this surpressing (and unsurpressing too) takes only this long on one specific assembly. I cant redesign this assembly, cause it has a lot of equations with this assembly, which are influenced by a VBA.

The most interesting part is that this suddenly takes much more time than before. How could that happen?

greetz,
