Referencing Graphic Files

Referencing Graphic Files

Referencing Graphic Files

(OP)
Quick question, hopefully someone already knows the answer.

There are a couple of different ways that you can apply images to a SW model:
Decal in PhotoWorks
Sketch Tools->Sketch Picture
Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V (especially for simply pasting a picture or image into a drawing file)

Do you need to maintain the original file for each of these? or is the info stored in the SW file so you can delete the original artwork file?

This is more relevant when e-mailing files to someone else. If I want the graphics/images to appear on their SW models, do I also have to send the original bmp/jpeg file?

Thanks

RE: Referencing Graphic Files

I'm not sure about PhotoWorks (don't use it) but the other two methods definitely pull the data into the SW file.

In the time it took to type the question (much less wait for an answer), could you not have tested it yourself?  Instant results.
