Distributed Load - SHELL

Distributed Load - SHELL

Distributed Load - SHELL

(OP)
Hello,

I would like to know the way to assign a variable distributed load to a shell element?

RE: Distributed Load - SHELL

Dear rodmanera,
               you should do the following:

Go to:
Define/Joint pattern/Add new...

Select the shell you want to load, and the go to:

Assing/Joint pattern/

Select the Joint pattern name and specify the function you want for the load (in global axes). Then go to:

Assing/Area loads/Surface Pressure/Click on "by joint pattern"

Select the joint pattern you used before, and the multiplier. Best regards,

Sebastian
