Update Motion Study Models & Visible Lines that should be Hidden

Update Motion Study Models & Visible Lines that should be Hidden

(OP)
I was wondering why my model wasn't updating when I made some color changes in the "Model" section of SW2010, but when I go back to my Motion Study tab, it shows the old colors on my model.  Do the parts not update and I have to make a new motion study?

My other issue concerns hiding a part in Motion Study.  I have an exploded model, and when different imported components of the assembly are hidden, they actually go away.  However, when I try to hide a part of one of the imported components (within it's sub assembly), the outline of it is still visible when "Shaded with Lines" is selected.  I am making a video, and was wondering if there was any way to get rid of those outlines of the part.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

It's been a while, but could your display states be causing the problem in the motion study?
