Does anyone have structural table or information for an open web steel joist designation 26DH9?

RE: Opne web steel joist

Wouldn't that probably be a "DLH" joist (mis-labeled)??

RE: Opne web steel joist

JAE-

I thought that as well, but I checked and DLH's start @ 52 inches..

RE: Opne web steel joist

Looked thru my copy of "75-year steel joist manual"

No joy??!!

RE: Opne web steel joist

H series used to only go up to 24" in depth.  Some manufacturers started to manufacture H-series to 30" and labeled the 26, 28 and 30 "DH" until SJI included them as standard "H" series in their tables.

RE: Opne web steel joist

DH-Series were an open web joist series available from Armco.

Norfolk:

That's an oddball occurrence, and would be well if you have the manual to forward the material to SlideRule, or post it here, so he could post it on his website, should he so desire.

Could come in handy in the future for someone here.
