Relining electrolysis pots (aluminium ind.) - a question about bricks

Relining electrolysis pots (aluminium ind.) - a question about bricks

(OP)
Hello, I am perhaps in the wrong place here, but I don't know where else to ask this.

I am a (Dutch) translator, and am translating a text about pot relining (electrolysis pots in the aluminium industry).
Can someone please help me out, I have a question about the different kinds of bricks used in the potlining. The Dutch texts refers to 3 types, namely BRO's, BIR's, and BIL's.
What exactly do they mean here? ANY help would be very welcome!
They are talking about the correct order and location within the potlining these 3 kinds of bricks are to be placed in, about sawing them to shape, etc

Thanks, Michael
