Force Coefficients for Cantilevered Tubular Pole Structures

Force Coefficients for Cantilevered Tubular Pole Structures

(OP)
Hi All,

I am working on 18-sided monopole (Telecommunication Tower) using TIA-222-F standard. I would like to know if there is an addendum on Rev F which includes the force coefficients (CF) for 18-sided pole structures. I have a copy of Rev F and it does not include CF for 18-sided pole and most of the softwares use 0.65 factor for 18-sided pole.

Please let me know if there is any reference document on force coefficient on monopoles.

Thanks

RE: Force Coefficients for Cantilevered Tubular Pole Structures

I would expect it to be pretty close to a round pole.
