Defining a custom contour equation

Defining a custom contour equation

Defining a custom contour equation

(OP)
I'd like to define my own equation to be plotted as a colored contour on my model but cannot seem to find information online regarding the process for doing this.

Please advise.

Thanks

RE: Defining a custom contour equation

Hello, mtbmx88!

Please find in ANSYS help description of the following commands:

DNSOL, DESOL, DETAB

that allow you to redefine (modify) the nodal and element results. Use this commands in an input that allow you to replace existing results with results obtained by your equation.

Contour plots of modified results will be available using the post1 commands PLNSOL, PLESOL, PLETAB.

Success!

Juzz
