Can you add Bold to certain parts of text in a table you have put on a drawing?  I know when you use Solidworks you can use the %% and a letter and it adds symbols.  Is there something similar in Solid Edge.

RE: Using Text in tables.

For symbols I think you can use the unicode key-in such as ALT+0176 (keep ALT key down and key in 0176)
I don't think there is any control over individual cells as the text is governed by whatever style is set. You can however change the style for all cells and column headers.

If you embed an Excel sheet you can use all the formatting available in Excel.

Kenat,

I have found that keeping the excel spreadsheet in the same directory as the draft works well.

RE: Using Text in tables.

You can't re-crop an excel sheet to see a larger area once it's been placed on a draft sheet, so if you add a load of data it may not be visible.
This apparently is a Windows problem not SE.
You can get round it by having data in a cell way outside the required area. You will then be able to enlarge the cropped area at least as far as that cell.
