equip compatibility to voltage sag

(OP)
hi!
i am currently working on finding cost of equipment tripping due to voltage sags. For this purpose i need to know equip compatibility to voltage sag. The equip on which i am working on are plc, asd, pc, contactors. Although i have found the generic compatability curve to voltage sag but i need to have a more comprehensive curve which can show the probability of equip tripping to ranges of voltage with different duration and magnitude.
Can anyone help me with it. ?

  Thank you in advance!

RE: equip compatibility to voltage sag

Ah, vous parlez d'une equip?

Please do use full words. It doesn't take much more time to write equipment. I think that is what you mean. Or are you talking about something else?

RE: equip compatibility to voltage sag

I assume that by "generic compatibiliy curve" you mean that you already have the ITi (CBEMA) curve from http://www.itic.org/index.php?src=gendocs&ref=CBEMA&category=resources

I don't know of any more comprehensive guidelines.  You can try manufacturers for specific equipment.  They may be able to give more specific voltage criteria, but I don't think you'll find probability of tripping.

A literature search may find some studies that have been done.  Try http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/guesthome.jsp to search IEEE.

RE: equip compatibility to voltage sag

If you can get a copy of IEEE Std 1250, Guide for Identifying and Improving Voltage Quality in Power Systems, I think this will provide much background material on the subject.

Are but a few papers and articles on domestic, office and industrial equipment that can be found with the aid of google.

What equipment?
Please see SEMI F47 "Specification for Semiconductor Processing Equipment Voltage Sag Immunity"

@SKogsgurra! sorry for using incomplete words. i am writing below the complete words
euip : equipment
ASD  : adjustable speed drives
PC   : personal computer
PLC  : programmable logic controllers

the material u posted is quite helpul and i m reading the book.

@jghrist! yep, by generic compatibiliy curve" i mean that i already have the ITi (CBEMA) curve.
i have also searched literature on ieee but it doesnt help with finding the probability on equipment tripping with differernt voltage sags.

i have tried to find different manufacturer data sheets, but i wasnt that successfull. can you plz give me a clue in this regard?

@magoo2! thanx. its a good helping material for me.

@rob46!
adjustable speed drives, personal computer, programmable logic controllers
