Repair authorization form

Repair authorization form

Repair authorization form

(OP)
Sirs:
During the preparation of the Operator Implementation Plan in accordance Aging Aircraft Safety Rule, I found that we need to use a REPAR AUTHORIZATION FORM, for accomplishing and record any repair or alteration.
Do you know if there is any special indications inside this form, or it is just like a work order, where we indicate all the procedures for accomplishing the repair?

RE: Repair authorization form

i'd've thought that this doc would be the engineering authorisation to incorporate the repair, either from the OEM or from the MRO.  This should include an assessment of damage tolerance, the effect of the repair on the FCBS (I doubt that a repair would include FCAS, but it might).
