Some questions about the "output stations"

Some questions about the "output stations"

Some questions about the "output stations"

(OP)
Good night,
I have some doubts with the "output stations" options, I looked in the program´s dictionary but there was nothing.
These are my questions:
When I have to use the "output stations"?
Why I have to use the "output stations"?
What´s the meaning about the "stations"?

RE: Some questions about the "output stations"

Output stations are locations where the program automatically calculates forces. It creates output stations when elements frame into one another, at supports etc. You can choose to create output stations at specified intervals such as spacing of 1' increments or a max. of xx stations along a member length. The forces are then reported at these locations.
