Diesel flowmeter in Medoc for FX?

Diesel flowmeter in Medoc for FX?

Diesel flowmeter in Medoc for FX?

(OP)
Hi

i want to build me an fuel consumption meter for my diesel engine.
I've got an Mitsubishi FX controller that i want to write a program for to calculatefuel consumption and avarage fuel consumption. I'm going to get 2 flow meters (that gives pulses so i get an digital input instade of an analog. I'm going to put one flow meter on the inlet pipe and one on the return pipe. To get the consumed diesel i will need to take the inlet minus the return. I want to send the calculated value to an HMI (Beijer panel) so that i can se the avarage, and the consuption of deisel I also want to have an extra feature that shows me how much i have left in the tank, for this i will need to put in the tank size, the amount of petrol i got in the tank and then put the that in a formula that takes the fuel consumption in considaration.

Now to the problem I've never worked with a Mitsubishi befor i got GX developer and medoc but never used them before (i'm used to Rockwell and Siemens S5 =) )
Is there somebody that can guide me in the right direction or have done something simulare befor that i can have a look at.

Many Thanks
Fredrik

Medoc and flow meter. I immediately think of wine from the Bordeaux region. Sorry, couldn't resist.
