Screen captures for reports etc
Screen captures for reports etc
(OP)
Do you need to capture copies of your SolidWorks images or for that matter anything else? I do a lot and have always used PaintShop Pro 9 as it has a really good facility. However, I just got a new PC and my old version of PSP won't run on Win 7.
I looked for an alternative and I just have to share my findings with you. Google CaptureWizPro.
What a program! Not only does it produce better screen shots but the video record facility is really really good. Much better than what you get in SW. Quite cheap too and of course free to try.
What do you think?

Check the copyright notice for irfanview. I checked quite a few years ago, and it was not free for commercial use.

If you want an image of your model, why not just save-as JPEG?
RE: Screen captures for reports etc
By using the various Realview presets you can usually get something that approachs real life. You can then crop, resample, and resave into whaterver format you like.
We use this to good effect for all of our marketing material rather than photographs.
