Gas Insulated Switchgear

Gas Insulated Switchgear

Gas Insulated Switchgear

(OP)
For instance if I have chosen 220 kV Gas Insulated Switchgear to be connected to 13.8 kV/ 220 kV Generator Transf. (3 nos. 1 phase forming one Transf. bank).

Do I provide one GIS unit each for incoming Transf. bank? And what will be the appropriate breaker scheme for 220 kV double bus bar??

(sorry, if my message is not clear enough. English is not my language)

RE: Gas Insulated Switchgear

Hi zonal.
If I understand your Q right, you need only one three phase GIS unit.
Standard configuration.
Fron buses:
twe bus disconnectors Q1 and Q2.

one earthing switch Q51

one CB-Q0

Now, up to you:
 Next earthing switch Q52
"Line/trafo" disconnector Q9
"LIne/trafo" earthing switch Q8

Hope that help.
Good Luck.
Slava
