Hi All,
Urgently it is necessary (working) example (input deck) of two teeth (spur gears) in contact (under some torque). Please help.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Mike

RE: Two teeth in contact

There is an example in "Abaqus Example Problems Manual"->"Mechanism Analyses"->"Gear assemblies" in the 6.9-1 documentation.

Hi DanStro,

Thanks for your message.
I knew about this model, but it simulates the mechanism. My problem is about contact and stress under contact.

Regards,
Mike
