Display freeze after doing a 'Save As...' step file using journal

Display freeze after doing a 'Save As...' step file using journal

(OP)
I'm using NX5 and trying to write a journal that will convert an assembly to step, jt, and parasolid.  I finally found that the only way to get the journal (in NX5) to convert the assembly to step was to use the "Save As" rather than Export.  When I do this by running the journal, it saves the step file correctly, but it causes the display in UG to freeze (can't rotate, zoom, move, etc) but all the functionality is still there.  When I do Save As without a journal, there is no problem.  Has anyone encountered any similar problems?

Thanks.

RE: Display freeze after doing a 'Save As...' step file using journal

This is unlikely to be the answer your after but ...
I had some problems exporting images when I changed to a dual-monitor setup.
I've found that I must have NX on my 'primary monitor' for it to export properly (or at all).
Hope you find your answer,
Jon
