Export jt file from TeamCenter

Export jt file from TeamCenter

Hi,
each time I save an assembly or a part, NX generates a jt file that is saved inside the Item_Revision.
It's possible export this jt outside to TC ?

Thank you...

Using NX7.0 and TC8.1

RE: Export jt file from TeamCenter

Just simply goto file export --> jt file.

Best regards,

Michäël.

Sorry Micky,
are you talking about procedure from NX or from TC ?
I don't want load the assembly to export.
I would like to export from TeamCenter.

Thank you...

Using NX7.0 and TC8.1

RE: Export jt file from TeamCenter

if you expand the revision in TcEng so you can see the model and beneath the model if you expand again, you should see the jt data set right? well right click on the jt dataset and select named references from the menu, find the jt in the list and then click export and choose a location to export it to outside TcEng.

Best regards

RE: Export jt file from TeamCenter

Or... And I'm working from memory here... you should be able to open the jt assembly from within teamcentre and then do a save as with references from within the view to a disk file that you can use outside to Teamcenter.

Best Regards
