(OP)
My current WPS is qualified for material thinkness range of .150 to .616. I need to weld a reinforcment plate of 1.0 to 4x3x.4375 angle. Can I do this under my current D3.6M WPS?

Check your copy of the welding standard.

The range that you are qualified for will usually differ depending on whether you are depositing fillet welds or groove welds.
