Bus Bar Temperature Rise

Bus Bar Temperature Rise

Bus Bar Temperature Rise

(OP)
This is related to the high humidity post.

Ambient temperature is 40 deg C. I know bus bars are rated at 40 deg C with a 65 deg C rise. I am assuming the temperature rise is due to heat loss from the bus under full load. Anyone know if there is data on full load temperature rise within switchgear.

It's a little too close for comfort. Can't find gear or transformers rated for 50 deg c. I guess I would need to oversize gear and rerate for expected temperature conditions.

Any links to technical documents on how bus bars are rated would be great!

Thanks.
