Diesel-Generator Powerhouse Configuration

Diesel-Generator Powerhouse Configuration

Diesel-Generator Powerhouse Configuration

(OP)
An islanded power system comprising of  4 off 1400 kVA, 480V, 60Hz diesel-generators is to supply a mine via a radial 34.5kV overhead line.
What is the preferred configuration of the generators, transformers, grounding and control ?
The 34.5kV system will be grounded at the Wye side of the generator transformer(s).
Are there any disadvantages in using  Wye-Wye transformers with only the 34.5kV side grounded ?
Interlocks will ensure the generators can not run in parallel with the Utility.

RE: Diesel-Generator Powerhouse Configuration

Wye connected generators, impedance grounded.
GSU transformers delta connected on the generator side.
Grounded wye 34.5 kV system.
Four wire 34.5 kV  system with distributed protective grounds on the neutral.
