create a mirrored component

(OP)
Folks,

I tried to create a mirrored component, but I could not get it work. I'm going through the entire wizzard, UG creates a new file in the assembly with the corrrect fre-fix ...., but the new created file is empty.

Is there a different set up to use?

I'm running out of ideas. what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

RE: create a mirrored component

What version of NX are you using?  If you can't upload the component, can you at least provide a picture of what it is that you're trying to do.

I'm running NX 5.0.6.3 MP4.

How you can see on the picture I tried to mirror the dark green component around one of the planes shown in the picture.

RE: create a mirrored component

Can you provide a picture of the Assembly Navigator after the Mirror Operation was completed?

RE: create a mirrored component

Attached is an example I created using your picture as a guideline.  The mirrored component was created using the Mirror Assembly wizard.  Everything seemed to work fine for me.

RE: create a mirrored component

YOUR example works for me with no problems whatsoever.  Note that I'm running NX 5.0.6.3 (no MP's).  The only difference appears to be the MP's.  Did you install those MP's because they addressed specific PR's that you needed fixed or did you just do it on spec?
