Point Table in NX6

Point Table in NX6

Point Table in NX6

(OP)
Hi,

Is there a way to automatically create a table in drafting mode that would contain all the points x,y coordinates included in a view?

Also, is it possible to auto baloon those points let's say using their name and the first column in the points table would be those names?

RE: Point Table in NX6

Only if you or someone else writes you a custom application.  Depending on which version of NX that you're using, we do offer something similar for creating a 'Hole Chart' on a drawing, but it only know about holes in you model, not just points.

Thanks a lot Hudson. Would it be possible to publish the code so I can make some modifications to it and convert it to a journal?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Point Table in NX6

Sorry I don't have a copy of the source that I can hand out, but take a look in the grip library which I believe may still exist somewhere on the PLMS BB and I suspect you may find some similar examples.

Best Regards

Hudson
