temperature dependent heat flux
temperature dependent heat flux
(OP)
Dear members,
I hope you can help me with my question:
How can I define a temperature dependent body heat flux, i.e. a heat flux that changes with a temperature function that can be defined during a step? Is it possible to use a tabular form? Or is an if-condition feasible?
An amplitude can only be defined in dependency upon time, am I right?
Thank you so much in advance.
Best regards,
maxxel

RE: temperature dependent heat flux
I have been through the same. It is possible to set temperature dependant heat flux using subroutine called DFLUX. Could you please inform what are you trying to do?
RE: temperature dependent heat flux
I am examining a cell of a battery and which electrical loss causing heat changes with the temperature. Could you perhaps submit such a DFLUX file if available. thanks.
RE: temperature dependent heat flux
I am affraid i dont have it as its been a long time i used it. However Abaqus User Subroutines Reference Manual will help you in to start with. in the Mean while you can check this website.

Hope this helps
