Water Curtain

I'm looking for information or resources to calculate the amount heat reduction provided by a water curtain given a known flow rate.

Lees' Loss Prevention book provides some references but I'm unable to locate them on the Web.

RE: Water Curtain

If you have access to NFPA 15, Annex A gives you some latent heat of vaporization for H20 and you can reverse calculate it based on your application rate on the object you are protecting.

Stookeyfpe,
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.  I'll look through it.

Thanks for the link.  I have all of the standards, dating back to 72 in PDF, so i'll have a look through them.
