I-DEAS errors with boundary conditons not existing

I-DEAS errors with boundary conditons not existing

(OP)
Hello,

I am trying to study deflections of a space frame in I-DEAS. I have imported the model as an IGES file from AutoCAD. I created (8) nodes and applied loads to (4) of them and constraints to the other (4). I applied a solid mesh and assigned a material. Upon trying to create a solution set, I get an error message of "Solution Set can not be created until Boundary Conditions exist". I believe that it has something to do with the nodes I created not being part of the mesh but have no way to confirm or force this.

I have included the model complete with loads and constraints. It does not include the mesh for space reasons.

Any help that anyone could provide would be most appreciated!
